How many languages does Rask support?

Rask supports translation and dubbing in 135+ languages. You can upload content in 75 source languages and translate it into 140 languages and regional variants.
AI voice presets are available for all of them.

Which languages support voice cloning?

Voice cloning currently supports 32 languages: Arabic, Bulgarian, Chinese, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Filipino, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hindi, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Malay, Norwegian Bokmål, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Slovak, Spanish, Swedish, Tamil, Turkish, Ukrainian and Vietnamese. Each voice cloning model also covers its regional variants.
For example, if you translate into UK English, the text follows UK English spelling, grammar and idioms, and the cloned voice uses a US English accent.

How does voice cloning work? Do we need to record voice samples?

No pre-recording is needed. Voice cloning happens automatically during dubbing when you translate your video into a voice cloning language: Rask replicates each speaker's voice from the original video. Instead of a cloned voice, you can choose a preset voice for any speaker.
On Creator Pro, Business and Enterprise plans you can also pre-record up to 10 voice samples with Custom Voice Clone, save them in the Voice Clone Library and reuse them across projects.

Are AI preset voices available in every language? Will our chosen voice stay available?

Yes. AI voice presets are available for every supported language and regional variant.
We never remove voices from the library – we only add new ones – so a voice you choose stays available.

My language isn't on the list. Are preset voices or voice cloning available for it?

Our language list and voice cloning coverage are expanding all the time.
Please check with our support team via the support chat or at support@rask.ai, or with your account manager, before you start.

Can Rask handle videos with several speakers?

Yes. Rask separates speakers in multi-speaker content, and you can add, modify or remove speakers and change the voice assigned to each one, in the editor and through the API.

Can we control terminology and translation style?

Yes. Rask has two tools for this.
Translation Dictionary: a centralized glossary for product names, industry terms, and approved translations across every language. Glossaries are available for all 75 target languages, and a glossary created for a specific language works across all projects with the dialects we support for that language.
Translation Prompting: guide AI translation with context, tone, and terminology instructions; with Translation Prompting you can make the translation more appropriate to the context of your video – for example, keep the tone of voice, or make the translation more formal or informal.
Translation Prompting is currently available on the Enterprise plan.

Can we edit transcripts and translations before dubbing?

Yes. In the built-in timeline editor you can edit transcripts, adjust timing, swap voices and refine translations.
You can also upload your own SRT files – source, translated or both.

Who can use the voice clones we create?

Voice clones are created inside your account and can only be used within that account.
They aren't available to any other Rask account.

What consent is required for voice cloning, and who owns the cloned voice?

By using Rask, you confirm that you have all legally required consents and permissions for the content you upload, including the voices of the people in it.
Rask provides AI-generated voices with full commercial usage rights and lets you clone brand voices with the speaker’s consent.
