Introducing subtitles

Our subtitle feature is a fantastic tool for those who enjoy videos without sound. You can create excellent subtitles that are seamlessly integrated into your video, thus enriching the user experience with every watch.

How do you create subtitles?

  1. Dub the video or enter current project.

  2. Click the “Download” → “Video”.

  3. Select “Generate” next to the “Translated video with subtitles” option.

  4. Once the generation is complete, download the version with captions.

  5. To preview captions before generation, click the “CC” button in the video player.

Why use subtitles

  • To reach even more users – engage them even if they’re browsing on mute!

  • To create a more inclusive experience for users with various access needs.

  • To make your videos more delightful and easy to follow with accurate, readable captions.

Just a heads up! This feature isn't the same as Text subtitles (.srt). With SRT, you can download a plain-text file that carries all the important subtitle details like start and end time codes, and the actual spoken text. But keep in mind, this isn't about the subtitles that appear on the video itself.

If you'd like to download SRT, please feel free to check out this page!
