# April 29, 2025 – Introducing Translation Prompting to Control the Tone of Your Translations

## Translation Prompting gives you control over how your translations sound.

Want your video to maintain a formal tone or keep its friendly conversational style across languages? This feature lets you guide the translation process to match your content original feel and purpose.

***Note: Prompting is currently available exclusively for Enterprise customers.***

Prompting gives you powerful yet simple control over your translation quality, accessible directly within the translation interface. For new projects, you'll find the "Add Translation prompt" button displayed in the project creation screen. For existing content, Prompting is conveniently located under the "Advanced tools" menu within any project.

The feature offers both free-form custom instructions and a selection of ready-made templates, giving you flexibility based on your needs. After applying your prompt, the standard "Translate" button (or "Retranslate" for existing projects) processes your content with your specified guidance.

This Enterprise-exclusive feature integrates seamlessly with your existing workflow without the need for complex settings, just your input on how you want your translations to sound and feel.
