How to translate one video into multiple languages

What are multilingual projects?

One of the top reasons why our customers love using Rask is its ability to connect with diverse audiences from different cultures and languages by localizing their videos into multiple languages. In this article, we'll introduce you to Rask's multilingual feature, which allows you to effortlessly translate a single video into multiple languages, making it easier to use our app and saving you time.

How to translate one project into several languages?

  1. Create your first project as usual and check the source transcription. Every language version uses it.
  2. Open the project and click "New language" at the top of the editor.
  3. In "Choose languages for translation", select up to 10 target languages. Use the search to find a language quickly, or click "Clear all" to start over.
  4. Check the selected languages and your minute balance. Each language uses minutes.
  5. Click "Translate", then choose "Open project", "Stay here" or "Go to Project List".
  6. Open each language project, wait for processing, review the translation and prepare the voiceover as usual.
  7. When the versions are ready, download them all at once from your project list.

Each language is a separate project with its own video, so you can review, edit and download every version on its own.

Note:
This feature is available on Business and Enterprise plans.
Compare plans in Plans and minutes explained.

To keep names, terms and tone consistent in every language, use a Translation Dictionary and, on Enterprise, Translation Prompting.
